Who Gets Notified

Itefy notifies the people a change actually concerns — not everyone. This page lists the rules. For where notifications appear and how unread ones escalate to email, see Notifications.

Two rules apply everywhere:

  • You are never notified about your own actions. If you check something out yourself, only the other people involved hear about it.
  • The item's primary responsible person (PPR) is in the loop. Assigning someone as primary responsible for an item means they are told when something happens to it.

Items

Reservations

Issues

Issue notifications are high priority — they escalate to email faster than others.
