Change issue status

The issue status indicates where an issue currently stands in its lifecycle. Three status options are available:

  1. Open: The default status when an issue is created. The issue is registered but resolution has not yet begun.

  2. In progress: Used when work to resolve the issue has commenced.

  3. Closed: Applied once the issue has been resolved.

To change the status, open the issue and click the colored status badge in the top right of the page, then pick the new status from the dropdown. You can move in any direction — for example, reopen a closed issue by selecting Open again.

If the issue was created with the auto-condition option enabled, closing it also returns the linked items to the Operative condition (and reopening sets them back to Inoperative).
