Change item condition
To change the condition of an item, go to the item page, click the Perform task button and select Change condition. Pick the new condition — Operative (working normally), Inoperative (out of service) or Discarded (permanently retired) — optionally write a remark about what is causing the condition change, and click Save.
The condition has now been changed, and the condition status is updated both on the item page and in the condition column of the items list.
Change condition of many items at once
You can also change condition as a batch operation from the items list: select the items (or apply a search/filter), click Edit selected (or Edit results), choose the Condition field, pick the new condition and confirm. Each change is logged per item, just as if you changed them one by one.
