Edit reservations
Open the reservation from the reservations list (click the row, or ⋮ → Edit reservation). Most fields are edited directly on the reservation page, given you have permission to manage reservations:
- Name: Click the title (or the pencil icon next to it) to rename.
- Classification: Click the colored classification badge in the header to pick another kind.
- Items: Click Edit on the Items card to add or remove items. Itefy checks that new items are available during the reservation's period.
- Description: Click Edit on the Description card.
- Details (sidebar): Click Edit on the Details card to change the location, the assigned user, and tags.
- Schedule (sidebar): Click Edit on the Schedule card (or click a date) to open the Edit dates & duration window and change the start and end.
You can also edit everything in one window: open the More menu in the header and choose Edit all fields….
Be aware that changing the schedule may make selected items unavailable — if items are flagged as booked, either replace them or adjust the schedule.
Editing a recurring reservation
A reservation that is part of a recurring series shows a Recurring series label in the header, and an Occurrences card listing every appointment in the series.
Shared fields — name, classification, items, description, location, assignee and tags — are stored once for the whole series, so editing one of them applies to every occurrence. Itefy asks you to confirm this before your first such edit.
Dates are the exception: they belong to each occurrence. To change dates you have two options:
- This occurrence: Schedule card → Edit changes only the occurrence you have open.
- Any occurrence: In the Occurrences card, click Dates next to an appointment.
Choosing More → Edit all fields… on a recurring reservation first asks what you want to edit: Just this one (dates only) or The entire series (all shared fields, but not the recurrence pattern itself).
