Create event from reservation

By creating an event directly from a reservation, you get the benefits of:

• Automatically copying all information from the reservation into the event
• Making a permanent relation between the reservation and the event

To create an event from a reservation, open the reservation, click the More button, then select Create event. You can only create events from reservations that are uncompleted.

By creating an event from a reservation, the reservation is marked as completed, and it shows a Converted to event banner linking to the event.

The event automatically inherits the reservation's classification — for example, a repair reservation becomes a repair event. For maintenance, inspection and repair reservations, Create event is also the completion action promoted first in the More menu (marked "Default").
