Items ​

In Itefy, an item is typically a piece of equipment. But it can also be other kinds of assets, like property, buildings, software licenses. That's why we use the word item, and not equipment within Itefy.

An item can also be a stack of consumables, such as building materials, disposables etc. These are added as inventory items, which gives you the option to track current stock, who has been picking consumables, and be notified when inventory is low. See inventory.

The Items page has four tabs:

  • Items — your fixed assets (equipment, tools, property etc.)
  • Inventory — consumables and stock counted as quantities
  • Archive — items parked for long-term storage; they keep their full history but are hidden from lists, pickers and new activity
  • Trash — deleted items that can still be restored (see Delete items)
